ATLANTA—In a recent update to the SkyMiles frequent flyer program, Delta Airlines will give unlimited free upgrades to Chicken Medallions effective August 1. “At Delta, customer satisfaction has always been a top priority”, CEO Ed Bastian announced at a press conference on Monday. “Our most loyal members deserve an elevated travel experience. This is why we have always been offering unlimited complimentary upgrades to First Class and Comfort+® to our valued Diamond Medallion, Platinum Medallion, Gold Medallion as well as Silver Medallion members, which is basically every passenger. From now on, any box, container, bag or even tray brought on board containing Chicken Medallions, regardless of size or piece count, will be upgraded to a domestic First Class or international Comfort+® seat.”
